Helping you
to be
happier...

Are you going through a difficult time?

Are you going through a difficult time?

People come to counselling for many reasons. It maybe that they want to change something about their lives or explore and understand their thoughts and feelings a little better.

Contacting a counsellor and embarking on counselling is a significant thing to do. Many people think about it on and off for many months or even years before taking the step to get some help. Often people have concerns, for example: what will the counsellor think of me, will they think I’m stupid / mad, do I have to talk about things that I find upsetting or difficult, will it be a good investment and does it work? Counselling is an effective tool which helps people to explore and understand their situation or experience with the aim of improving overall happiness.

As a Senior Accredited Counsellor, I offer you a non-judgemental, confidential space which will enable you to develop a stronger insight and understanding of your difficulties. I have received excellent training and my career in the NHS has been extensive. This, and the direct experience of working with so many young people, adults and families has enabled me to build a very deep understanding of how to nurture and maintain a healthy mind.

I am a member of the National Counselling Society and a registered nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Council.
